A significant milestone has been achieved with the completion of the ground floor slab. Works have already moved on to commence the superstructure of the building, with all 3 lift cores already at an advanced stage. The development remains on target for completion in 2018.

Works have commenced today at 28-30 Great Patrick Street, Belfast. The completed development will deliver 474 bedrooms of student accommodation and a ground floor retail unit.   Gilbert-Ash has been engaged as the main contractor, and will achieve practical completion by September 2018.

Olympian has today completed the purchase of the site at 28-30 Great Patrick Street, Belfast and secured funding to deliver the scheme for September 2018. The funding partner will own and operate the completed 474 bedroom scheme.   Works on site are expected to commence immediately.

Olympian were Highly Commended in the prestigious Concrete Society Awards for the Motel One development at Manchester, Piccadilly. Judges commended the finishes to the scheme as “the outstanding aspect of this structure”, with “consistent colour and shade throughout” and that the quality of the acid-etched facade and smoothness of the internal faces were both “excellent”.
