Olympian Homes Ltd is pleased to announce the on-target achievement of the Golden Brick Milestone on IQ Weaver Place, Coventry.
In October 2018 Supren Ltd and Olympian Homes Ltd commenced work on the demolition phase of IQ Weaver Place and then undertook extensive archaeological investigations on this important heritage location , thereafter marking the start of the construction phase of this 853 unit student scheme on Lamb Street Coventry.
Overcoming several difficulties in the ground including pavement retention, ground water and heritage archiving the site construction team altered the logistical sequencing and liberated the time lost overcoming these challenges and achieved completion of the ground floor slab coupled with one lift of core right on the programmed Milestone Date.
Our congratulations are extended to all involved as work now continues with the insitu concrete frame onwards and upwards to the next Milestone at topping out of the frame expected in March next year.
