Salford Borough Council have today granted outline planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Mitchell & Shackleton site at Green Lane, Eccles to provide a total of 140 houses with associated landscaping. The approval is subject to the agreement of a Section 106 legal agreement. Work is now underway to draw up plans to carry out remediation works on this former industrial site, and on developing more detailed proposals for delivery of the approved scheme.
