Olympian secures planning permission for 442 PBSA units and 132 Co-living units in Bristol

Olympian received planning approval to redevelop the site of the Bristol City Centre Premier Inn. The existing 20-storey 1970’s building will be redeveloped to create two new buildings of 18 and 28 storeys with a GIA of 21,117 Sqm / 227,306 sqft. The site will provide 132 co-living homes, of which 20% will be affordable, as well as 442 purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) beds. Two-thirds of the site’s 20,500 sq ft ground floor will be available to the public as open space. This space, which will be extensively landscaped, will also create a pedestrian route connecting Bristol bus and coach station and Broadmead.
