Olympian Homes organised a 60’s Music Festival fundraising event on the 9th July this year to raise money for The Royal Marines Charity and Adaptive Grand Slam (AGS) Charity.
The event was attended by over 400 people who, through their donations and participation in an auction, raised over £55,000 for the charities. The headline act were the Bootleg Beatles, ably supported by three local bands including The King, Elvis Presley, aka Stefan Booth. On the Sunday a veterans cricket side took on the local village team, narrowly losing a 20/20 match, followed by a hog roast, ale and wine.
