Arena PointMerrion Way, LS2 8PA, LeedsOlympian exchanged contracts on the site in August 2020 and received detailed planning consent in July 2021 to demolish the existing office building and redevelop the site into a 633-unit Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) tower. Olympian completed the acquisition in July 2021 and secured vacant possession in August 2022 with demolition commencing shortly after. When complete, the development will be the tallest building in Leeds and the tallest student accommodation tower in the World, standing at 135m. It has been designed to produce some of the very best student accommodation available in the UK.
