Manchester City Council have granted full planning permission for the redevelopment of the site at Coupland Street, Manchester to provide 273 Build To Rent (BTR) units. Works now continue on the detailed design for the scheme, with an anticipated start on site in Q3, 2016.
The building was designed by Hodder & Partners architects who have produced a design that is sympathetic to the grade 1 listed Fire Station on the opposite side of Whitworth Street and the contrasting mass and modern looks of the Piccadilly Place development on the opposite elevation. The final result is a building that fits well into its surroundings whilst still providing an important landmark on this gateway route into the city.

This site is located 34 metres from the new University of Ulster campus which opens in September 2018 with a 15,000 student population. Belfast currently has no private sector student accommodation, and Olympian are excited to be delivering a significant scheme that will be one of the closest accommodation blocks to the main university campus.

Olympian are pleased to announce that Practical Completion has been achieved at the Motel One development at London Road, Manchester. The project has utilised a number of novel construction methods, and has been delivered on time and on budget by main contractor Russells Construction. Motel One will shortly be completing their works, at which point the hotel will open for business.
